CBD is a chemical found in marijuana. CBD doesn’t contain tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the psychoactive ingredient found in marijuana that produces a high. The usual CBD formulation is oil, but CBD is also sold as an extract, a vaporized liquid and an oil-based capsule. Food, drinks and beauty products are among the many CBD-infused products available online.

Hemp, or industrial hemp, is a botanical class of Cannabis sativa cultivars grown specifically for industrial or medicinal use. It can be used to make a wide range of products. Along with bamboo, hemp is among the fastest growing plants on Earth.

Delta-8 is one of the most popular cannabinoid found in cannabis, it is one of the four most prominent out of more than one-hundred compounds that naturally occur. Delta-8 delivers psychotropic effects, yet it is less potent than its close relative, Delta-9 THC. It also occurs in very small concentrations, which increases its value due to the intricate process that involves extraction, isolation, conversion, and refinement. Though it is a complex process to obtain large concentrations of Delta-8 THC, there are methods of creating Delta-8 THC that are less difficult.

All in all, Delta-8 is a powerful cannabinoid that has a lot to offer. It is an isomer of CBD and a derivative of hemp and CBD and is completely legal if the final product contains less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC.

As it comes to the comparison of Delta-8 and CBD, the distinctions between the two are a bit more balanced than the similarities Delta-8 and Delta-9 have.

This is because CBD is chemically much different from Delta-8 THC. For instance, Delta-8 is a psychoactive cannabinoid, and CBD is not. Additionally,

scientists have conducted research on CBD much more and the benefits that it

offers are vast. Here is a brief list comparing the two to show the differences

between them:

Delta-8 THC

– Psychoactive

– High Probability of Failing a Drug Test

– Found in Low Concentrations

– Used Medicinally and Recreationally

– Binds to CB1 Receptors and Relation to CB2 Receptors

CBD

– non-Psychoactive

– Low Probability of Failing a Drug Test

– Found in High Concentrations

– Commonly Used Medicinally

– Binds to CB1 Receptors

Delta-8 THC and Delta-9 are two separate chemical compounds native to the cannabis plant, they are closely related by sharing many similarities. In fact, the only real difference is its placement. Both Delta-8 THC and Delta-9 THC contain double bonds, yet Delta-8 contains the bond on the 8th carbon chain, while Delta-9 contains the bond on the 9th carbon chain, hence the names.

Besides the bonds, the Endocannabinoid System’s (ECS) receptors react relatively similarly, they both present a similar structure, and they also share many similar properties. If you’re missing out on all the fun and benefits of THC common in marijuana, you will be thrilled to learn that both Tetrahydrocannabinol cannabinoids serve the same purpose as one another, acting as the ideal solution for both medicinal and recreational use.

While they are different compounds with many similarities, there isn’t too much that separates the two. They both bind to the CB1 receptor and offer psychotropic effects; however, Delta-8 THC is half as strong, delivering a lower potency, which some find more tolerable and suitable for recreational use.

Technically, CBD is still considered a Schedule I drug under federal law. Hemp has been removed from the Controlled Substances Act, but the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) still classify CBD as a Schedule I drug.

Hemp oil is not the same as cannabidiol (CBD) oil. The production of CBD oil uses the stalks, leaves, and flowers of the hemp plant, which contain a higher concentration of CBD, another potentially beneficial compound in the plant. Hemp seed oil comes from the small seeds of the Cannabis sativa plant.

Hemp seeds are particularly rich in these healthy fats, including omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. Both of these fats are known for improving heart health by reducing cholesterol, blood pressure, and triglycerides. Adding hemp oil to your diet may reduce your risk of heart problems in the future.

How do you create the different moods?

We hand-select cannabis strains for their degrees of varying cannabinoids and terpene profiles. We then enhance these naturally occurring profiles by adding additional cannabinoids and terpenes to further promote a given mood.

Do you third-party test your products?

All of our products undergo 3rd party testing in DEA-registered labs.

Will this show up on a drug test?

Our products will cause you to test positive for THC. We recommend not using them if you are required to pass a drug test for marijuana.

Does this feel like marijuana?

Many people think so! Delta-8 THC is a cannabinoid naturally expressed in the cannabis plant. It has many of the same effects of its more well-known (and more potent) cousin cannabinoid, Delta-9 THC. However, many users of Delta-8 report it to be a milder version of Delta-9 THC, and with less psychoactive effects. The result is a cannabinoid that still provides mood altering properties without giving its user a feeling of being overwhelmed.

How do I pick what to get?

We take pride in seeking to educate our customers as much as possible on our website, but if you have any questions at all feel free to contact our friendly Customer Support by email, chat or phone. They work 7 days/ week from 9am to 5pm CST.

Absolutely! All of our products are made from federally legal industrial hemp. Per the 2018 Farm Bill it’s perfectly legal to produce hemp derived Delta-8 THC in any concentration, and Delta-9 THC that does not exceed 0.3% by dry weight.

Will it get me high?

It sure will! Be careful and find your perfect amount slowly, you can always take more if the effects you’re feeling aren’t as strong as you’d like.
